Terms of Use

Agreement
These terms apply to the Fieldkit website at use-field-kit.com, including its tools and guides. Fieldkit is maintained by Alexander Braz. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of these terms.
What Fieldkit provides
Fieldkit offers free developer utilities (formatters, converters, generators and testers) and written guides. The tools run as JavaScript in your browser. There are no accounts, no paid plans and no server-side processing of the text you paste into a tool. Tools and guides may be added, changed or removed at any time without notice.
Your input and output
What you paste into a tool stays yours, and so does the result. Fieldkit does not claim any rights over your input or output, and you may use results in personal or commercial work. Because processing happens in your browser, Fieldkit does not receive or store that content.
You are responsible for what you choose to paste. Do not use the tools with data you are not allowed to process, and be careful with passwords, API keys, live tokens and personal data, even though the tools do not upload them. Browser extensions, shared computers and screen recordings are outside Fieldkit's control.
Acceptable use
Use the site in a lawful way. Do not try to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with the advertising in ways meant to generate fraudulent impressions or clicks. Do not present the site, or a copy of it, as your own hosted service.
Site content
The text of the guides and tool pages, the design and the Fieldkit name belong to the site's maintainer. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Copying whole pages or republishing the guides elsewhere requires permission. Code snippets in the guides are short examples, and you may use them in your own projects without attribution.
Accuracy and no warranty
The tools and guides are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Effort goes into checking examples and technical claims, but mistakes are possible, and browsers differ. Check important results with your own tests or tooling before relying on them in production, in contracts, or anywhere an error would be costly.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by the law that applies to you, Fieldkit and its maintainer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or from reliance on its output or content, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Advertising and third-party links
The site is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads and the links in them come from third parties, and Fieldkit does not control or endorse the products they promote. Links to outside sites, such as RFCs or documentation, are provided for reference; those sites have their own terms and policies.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
